Joanna Forbes is the founder and chief consultant of Forbes Human Resources, LLC, providing customized HR consulting and workplace training to organizations throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

 

With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, Joanna brings practical, real-world experience across healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, social services, food service, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations. Her work focuses on helping organizations address workplace challenges, develop effective leaders, strengthen teams, and create practical HR solutions that work in the real world.

 

Joanna holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Master of Science in Leadership and Training & Development, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and is OSHA-10 certified.

In addition to her consulting work, Joanna is a full-time faculty member at Youngstown State University, where she teaches human resources and management courses in the Williamson College of Business Administration.
